Electrical Engineer · App Developer
An enthusiastic young person interested in a wide range of different endeavours, from history to tech. With my engineering experience, I try to utilise it in a way to serve a determinantal cause.
As the founder of an e-commerce iOS app, I applied my electrical engineering skills and passion for entrepreneurship to create a platform that connects buyers and sellers of local goods. I designed and deployed the app using Swift, Firebase, and Stripe, and managed the user feedback and testing processes.
I also have experience in electrical power systems and electronics design for the energy and health industries, as a graduate project engineer at Plan B Group and an electronics engineer intern at LIFEFORM AI. I was responsible for designing an underground electrical network for land developments, engaging with stakeholders, and supporting senior managers with AutoCAD drawings and design checks. I also contributed to the development of a wearable device that monitors vital signs using Arduino IDE, sensors, and Bluetooth modules.
I hold a Bachelor of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (Honours) from Monash University, where I won an autonomous robot competition and completed a solar power system course. I am proficient in Arduino IDE, power electronics, and remote teamwork, and I speak Arabic and English fluently. I am always open to a chat and eager to learn new skills and technologies. My portfolio is available at bashartasslak.com.
Keep an eye on this space, here I journal my latest work and share my personal thoughts in a blog-like post.
